An Israeli-Swiss Reform Wedding
Benny and Lilian wanted a Jewish wedding in Israel that reflected their international family. Their bilingual Hebrew-English chuppah needed to welcome Israeli guests and loved ones arriving from abroad.
A Multicultural Guest List
Some guests were Jewish and others Christian, so the ceremony had to remain authentically Jewish while being open, understandable, and inviting. They also asked that it not be too long.
Elegant, Concise, and Inclusive
The couple exchanged rings, blessed one another, and spoke personal words. Mutual kiddushin and carefully explained texts allowed everyone to take part. Israelis, Swiss guests, Jews, and Christians all felt included in the same Jewish moment.
